Lagos - The 55-year-old female pilgrim, arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, last week has excreted the last wrap of cocaine she ingested, reports Vanguard.
The suspect, Binuyo Basari Iyabo, who had earlier excreted 76 wraps was arrested during the outward screening of passengers on an Emirate flight to Dubai en-route Medina, after testing positive for drug ingestion.
According to the suspect she was promised N1million by her sponsor to ingest the hard drugs.
She later excreted six more wraps, bringing it to a total of 82 raps of cocaine.
She was on her way to Saudi Arabia on pilgrimage, where drug trafficking was punishable by death.
Arrangements have been concluded for her prosecution in Nigeria.
