Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump challenged Hillary Clinton to release detailed medical records, as he continues to raise questions about her ability physical ability to serve as president.
“I think that both candidates, Crooked Hillary and myself, should release detailed medical records,” Trump tweeted Sunday night. “I have no problem in doing so! Hillary?”
In response, Clinton’s campaign accused Trump of failing to release even the most basic health information.
“Donald Trump has put forward a laughable letter that omits basic health information including the date of his exam, past medications, family medical history, heart rate, respiratory rate, EKG, or cholesterol level,” campaign spokesperson Glen Caplin said statement, according to CNN.
Caplin accused Trump of pushing “discredited conspiracy theories” instead of being transparent about his own health.
“Donald Trump needs to produce a real doctor’s letter, written by a credible doctor, that details the state of his health for voters,” Caplin said.
