Fulani Herdsmen Killed A Plateau State Traditional Monarch

A Plateau state traditional monarch has been killed by the suspected Fulani herdsmen – He was murdered while returning from his farm in Sha.
Plateau police spokesman confirmed the incident. Sir Lazarus Agai, a first class traditional ruler in Plateau state, the Saf Ron Kulere, and chairman of Bokkos traditional council, has been murdered by suspected Fulani herdsmen. He was murdered on Monday, July 18, in his village, Sha, The Punch reports, He was reportedly killed while returning from his farm in Sha, along with his driver. Though details of his death was still sketchy, it was confirmed by Sunday Muchen, a member representing Bokkos constituency in the state House of Assembly. The monarch’s death was also confirmed by Tyopev Terna, the spokesperson of the Plateau state police. He noted that no one has been arrested in connection with the incident.
