Taliban Attack An Afghan Police Convoy Near Kabul




Taliban bombers killed at least 30 people and injured 50 others in an attack on Afghan police convoy.
Convoy of buses carrying graduates were hit by two bombs at the city's Western outskirts.
The Paghman District Governor, Musa Khan said "all but two of those dead were police cadets".
Taliban have claimed they carried out the bombing. You will recall over a week ago, there was also an attack on a bus that killed 14 people. The interim Ministry spokesman Sediq Sediqi said two blasts had been targeted at cadets in recent time.
As at now, officials are still trying to confirm the exact number of people that died in the course of the attack, but sources and eye witness described it as a scene of carnage.
